START REGIONAL RAIL NETWORKS
start runs two railway networks in northern Germany: the Unterelbe Railway, including the RE5 line between Cuxhaven and Hamburg, and the Niedersachsen Mitte Railway, which is comprised of the Heidekreuz Railway and the Weser-Bahn/Lammetalbahn Railways. Since December 2022, it also includes the Taunus Railway in the Rhein-Main region, and the Maas-Wupper Express, which will be added in 2026..
