RB 15 – Partial suspension Saalburg – Bad Homburg – (Frankfurt)

To commission the electronic signal box in Friedrichsdorf, the RB 15 line between Saalburg and Bad Homburg will be closed from 10 p.m. on 17 February until the end of service on 22 February. A rail replacement service will operate between Wehrheim and Bad Homburg and back. For a quick connection to Bad Homburg and the S-Bahn, additional express buses will run during the day between the stops Usingen, Wehrheim and Bad Homburg.

RB 12 – partial closure between Frankfurt Höchst and Frankfurt Hbf, January 3 – February 27

Due to a series of construction measures, the section between Frankfurt Central Station and Frankfurt Höchst will be closed from January 3 to February 27, 2026. Passengers are requested to use the S1 line instead. The journey time will be extended by approximately 10 minutes.

RB 16 – Closure till February 22

Due to work on commissioning the electronic signal box in Friedrichsdorf, the RB 16 line is expected to remain closed to rail traffic from December 3,2025 until February 22, 2026. A rail replacement service (SEV) with buses has been set up.
